If you found our website through a Google search engine inquiry, please check a map to ensure Hanna, Alberta is where you want to live. While we are fortunate to often have top search engine positioning for rentals in Alberta, it doesn't mean Hanna is a location close to where you want to live.
In the cities, the majority of rental applications are VERY intense. They include credit checks, copies of pay stubs, multiple reference checks, and an interview. Property managers and rental agencies will tell you to take the entire process as serious as applying for a job. If you don't, the odds are high you won't get the rental. While we are not that "intense", we do expect people to take the process very serious. As a privately owned property, we take our investment very serious. Our first priority is to maintaining the quality and integrity of our investment. If we don't have trust or confidence in a potential tenant, we will not rent to them. We would rather let an apartment sit vacant, than be in a position where we have to worry about it.

* Please note that it can be "difficult" for us to rent to tenants with small children. A majority of our tenants work shift-work and in the past, running and yelling / screaming / crying has been very disruptive to those tenants who require sleep at various times of the day.
** We have stairs in our building and do not have automated entry/exit doors. If you have mobility challenges, our building would not be well suited for you.
We do not allow smoking or vaping within the building or on the balconies. There is a smoking area at the back of the building. While we are dog lovers, we do not allow tenants to have pets. Animals pose a floor damage and allergy risk for the next tenant.
We occasionally have 1 or 2 all-inclusive two-bedroom apartments available for rent (minimum 2mths and maximum of 2 adults) for $1600/mth. These are fully furnished and include all utilities + internet. Tenant is responsible for carrying tenant insurance (approx. $300/yr) + damage deposit is $800 (damage or if you leave before the 2-month term). Renewal is then monthly.
As much as we would like to have "all" our apartments available for longer-term rental, we reserve some for shorter term rentals (contract / temporary workers in Hanna and area). This helps us maintain lower rent for our longer-term tenants as we can put the additional income towards extremely high insurance, property taxes, and utilities. While this removes a few apartments from the local rental pool, it enables us to keep rental rates more affordable overall.
Our "All Inclusive" apartments include utilities, smart TV, internet, bathroom & kitchen supplies. Each floor has its own laundry. Fitness room is available on the lower floor.
We are located a block from a park, a 15 minute walk to the school, arena, hospital and groceries - or minutes by vehicle.
If you own an RV or Truck, you are welcome to park it on our large lot across the street free of charge. We have covered parking at the back of The Abby for cars.
The Abby is located at the east end of main street Hanna. Conveniently located in a quiet / safe neighborhood.
